NotFake ("we", "our", "the app") is a watch authentication app developed by XPLODE LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Photos: When you scan a watch, the photo is sent to our servers for AI analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
Instagram URLs: If you use the Instagram scan feature, the URL you provide is used solely to fetch the public image for analysis. We do not access your Instagram account.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics (number of scans, app opens) to improve the service. This data cannot identify you personally.
Purchase Data: If you subscribe to NotFake Pro, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.
Photos are processed using OpenAI's API for AI analysis. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models.
Photos submitted for analysis are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after. We do not maintain a database of user photos.
NotFake is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
